Buy Bakugan balls for Christmas
Bakugan balls and cards are a popular toy for boys and girls between 7 and 10 years old or so. They are actually quite exciting to play with for mums and dads too! This is not just another cheap plastic toy for kids to play with, it is actually a little bit educational. Bakugan Battle Brawlers is a game usually played between two players. Each player battles over “gate cards”. The first person to win three gate cards wins the game.
To play the game each person must choose three Bakugan balls, three Bakugan gate cards and three Bakugan ability cards. The balls actually turn in Bakugan warriors. They do this when they land on a gate card. This is because the gate cards are made of metal and when the ball lands on the card it magnetically pops open. At the start of the game the players choose a gate card each and place it on the playing area face down. Players take turns in rolling their Bakugan balls on to the playing area towards the gate cards. The aim being to land on one of the two gate cards. If a player is successful, their Bakugan warrior will pop open on the gate card they were aiming for. When a Bakugan warrior from each side is open on the same gate card, a battle can commence. Each warrior has a G rating. This is their power score. At the end of the battle, the Bakugan with the highest G power rating typically wins. But it is not just a case of looking at the number printed on the warrior. The gate cards sometimes have special instructions that affect the battle. They also have scores that are added to the Bakugan warrior’s G power depending upon which planet the Bakugan comes from. There are 6 different groups of Bakugan each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Players also get to choose an ability card that can help their fighter out in battle. The educational part of this game involves mental arithmetic. The children have to add and subtract values from their warrior’s G-power scores. At the end of the battle, the player with the highest G-power wins the gate card. Then they get to put one of their unused gate cards on to the playing area. Even though players can win each others gate cards, this is only a temporary condition. At the end of the game the cards and balls are to be returned to their original owners. Of course if players really want to play for keeps, this would have to be decided upon before the start of play. If you want to buy Bakugan balls for Christmas the best place to look is Amazon.
